I am a fully UK trained Consultant Gynaecologist with sub-speciality accreditation in Gynaecological Oncology Surgery. I am a full-time NHS Consultant at the renowned St Luke’s Cancer Centre at Royal Surrey County Hospital.
I graduated from the University of Leicester Medical School in 2006, and completed my post-graduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the East Midlands. During this time, I completed a three-year surgical fellowship in Gynaecological Oncology at two leading UK cancer centres in Kent and Surrey.
I have a strong academic background, having completed a PhD in health behaviours associated with the prevention of cervical cancer. Additionally, I have multiple peer-reviewed publications and hold an Honorary Senior Lecturer position with the University of Surrey.
As well as performing major open and laparoscopic gynaecological procedures, I am a fully certified robotic surgeon. I am also a certified colposcopist with the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology.
I have three beautiful children who keep me active and busy outside of work life. In the little spare time that I have, I love to exercise and explore the outdoors.
